Ipe Mantles
Ipe, an exotic hardwood from Bolivia, is also known as Ironwood because of its density.
We have 4 Ipe mantles that measure
8′ long x 9″ wide x 4.2″ thick with beveled edges
$600 each
We recently acquired a selection of Cachichira benches from Bolivia. They are dense and beautiful. I had hoped for a few mantle pieces, but that did not happen.
Then, one of our team mates, Pat Angelicchio, mentioned: “Hey Mark! Why don’t you just take the piece of wood off the legs that makes the bench and presto, you now have a gorgeous mantle?!”
We have actually made such a deal (removing legs from a bench for a mantle). How we worked it: customer selected bench @ $1500, we removed legs and sold it for $1200. He and his wife were happy – we were happy!

These tables were produced by an artist that loves the mostly-Bolivian indigenous wood that goes by the local name of Cachichira (Sloanea Obtusiflora).
It is gorgeous! It looks like walnut and chestnut combined!

Marble-topped Wrought Iron Italian Console Tables
These Italian wrought iron console tables with marble tops were popular circa 1950 and remain beautiful today. You will not find these anywhere.
