This beautiful Brazilian hardwood has an even texture and serious hardness. The color spectrum includes grays, blues, and greens. We have just received this hard-to-find stock from Brazil and it’s selling fast. Don’t snooze on this one, it won’t be here for long! is an incredibly durable and beautiful wood. More than just durable, Ipe is also very pleasing to the eye. Its heartwood is light to dark olive brown with contrasting yellowish-gray or gray-brown tones accompanying it. With a Class A fire rating, Ipe occupies the same class of fire-retardant materials as steel. For durability, safety, and beauty, Ipe makes an excellent choice for a one of a kind floor!

is a strong and durable wood that has a Janka rating (hardness scale) of over 3,000. This degree of hardness compares to Oak at 1,200 and Hickory at 1,500. It takes stains well and is resistant to termites. Its shock resistance makes it an excellent flooring material.

It is an extremely dense wood and has a bright, vivid red color. Once finished, it offers an exceptional and lustrous red surface. Applying a thick protective finish and keeping the wood out of direct sunlight can help preserve this beautiful color. It is very durable and resistant to most insect attacks. Other uses for blood wood include carvings, trim, inlays, furniture, guitars, knife handles, and turned objects.
